Kefalonia Fiskardo Port

Fiskardo is a fishing village in the north of Kefalonia, 50 km from Argostoli, and was named after Normandy Crusader Robert Giscardo in 1085.  It is the northernmost port of Kefalonia and connects it with Ithaca and Lefkada. In the small alleys we will find many small shops, restaurants, bars and in the picturesque harbor, we will find fishing boats and luxurious boats.  Fiscardo has gained a worldwide reputation especially after shooting some of the scenes from the movie "Captain Corelli's Mandolin". The surrounding beaches with white pebbles and lush vegetation that almost touches the sea will complete a very enchanting landscape that remains unforgettable to anyone who visits it.
